David Cole — Boating Without the Mistakes

I’m David Cole, a recreational boater who believes confidence on the water begins with preparation, patience and respect for the conditions. Many costly boating mistakes happen during ordinary moments: approaching a dock too quickly, overlooking one item before launch or buying equipment that is poorly suited to the boat. These problems are usually easier to prevent than to correct. On Boating Without the Mistakes, I explain docking, launching, equipment selection, routine inspections and the habits that help make boating calmer and safer. I use clear demonstrations and practical checklists without pretending that every boat handles identically or that one method replaces proper local instruction. My goal is not to make boating appear frightening. It is to help you understand your equipment, slow the process down and spend more of your day enjoying the water instead of correcting avoidable problems.
