Tupac Shakur is one of the greatest and most controversial artists of all time. More than 25 years after his tragic death in 1996 at just 25, he remains one of the most misunderstood, complex, and prolific figures in modern history. His message continues to resonate as fans treasure the timeless themes in his poetry and music. With over 75 million records sold, All Eyez on Me and Greatest Hits are certified diamond. In 2017, Tupac became the first solo hip-hop artist inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He also starred in Juice, Poetic Justice, Above the Rim, Gridlock’d, and Gang Related. His legacy endures—his writings were featured in a GRAMMY Museum exhibit in 2015, and in 2022, Tupac Shakur: Wake Me When I’m Free opened in Los Angeles. In 2023, FX’s Dear Mama became the network’s most-watched docuseries.
