I'm Bill Barnes. I served my country in the war, and when I came home I put my hands to the land and never took them off it. Seventy-odd years of farming, and the soil's taught me as much as any sergeant ever did. On this channel I share the old farming ways. the practical, hard-won knowledge you can't get from a book or a screen. Working the land by hand and by season, keeping livestock the way we used to, mending what breaks instead of buying new, growing food that actually feeds a family, and getting through a hard winter on what you've put by. No shortcuts, no nonsense. Just the ways that worked before the machines came, and work still. Pull on your boots. There's work to do.
