Welcome to a journey through America’s forgotten department stores. I’m Voter Granger, and on this channel, I document the abandoned stores, empty shopping centres, and forgotten retail landmarks that once stood at the heart of American communities. Behind every boarded-up entrance is a story — the rise of a retail giant, the people who walked its aisles, the moments that made it special, and the events that eventually left it behind. Through documentary-style storytelling, archival history, old photographs, and the stories surrounding these forgotten places, we uncover what happened to some of America’s most memorable department stores. These aren’t just abandoned buildings. They’re pieces of American history. Subscribe and step inside the forgotten side of America — one abandoned store at a time.
