TGTC: Architecture & Urbanism

TGTC: Architecture & Urbanism explores architecture, cities, the built environment: how they shape our mood, our behavior, and our sense of beauty, often without us noticing. These videos are about why so much of today's urban areas feel depressing; how we got here; and what could be done about it; and how Vitruvius' architecture principles (in which strength, function, and beauty rain supreme) can make any city irresistible when applied. Every video on this channel is crafted from scratch: The scripts: researched, written, and narrated from a genuine human perspective. The art: original illustrations and animations, hand-drawn; and cityscapes in oil are the author's own. The music: Classical and operatic masterpieces, from the dramatic motifs of Verdi and Wagner to the timeless melodies of Chopin and Puccini, arranged and recorded live on the piano.
