The American Wild is an independent documentary channel exploring the most extraordinary ecological recoveries in American history. From wolves returning to Yellowstone to beavers parachuted into Idaho forests, from sea otters healing California bays to dam removals bringing rivers back from the dead, we tell the real stories of how animals, scientists, and ordinary people are bringing American landscapes back to life. Every episode is built on rigorous research, first-hand accounts from the biologists and rangers who lived these stories, and the kind of specific detail that turns a science paper into a story you can't stop watching. If you've ever wondered what's actually happening in the forests, rivers, deserts, and coasts of America, you're in the right place. New documentary releases every week
