We’re Rick and Daphne, a retired couple who sold everything to travel the world full time. We travel slowly, stay longer and share what life in each destination is really like. Instead of rushing through a place in a few days, we usually spend several weeks or about a month getting to know it. We explore the neighborhoods, food, transportation, everyday costs and what daily life feels like, including the things we love and the things we don’t. You’ll see our first impressions, what we actually spend, travel budget breakdowns and our Could We Live Here? series, where we look at destinations through the eyes of people who might actually stay awhile. We also share the practical side of full-time travel in retirement, including planning, transportation and healthcare overseas when it becomes part of our experience. We’re not travel experts.
