Hi, honey. I'm Verna Sizemore. I was born in 1943 in Perry County, Kentucky, and I've been cooking in a holler above Hazard for better than sixty years. I learned from my mama and my mamaw, and neither one ever wrote a recipe down. Nannie's cast iron skillet still sits on the back of my stove.
