Welcome to the Germany Chapter of the International Coaching Federation (ICF)! The ICF is the world's largest professional organization for coaches – with more than 60,000 members in 157 countries and territories (as of 2025). Since 1995, it has been advancing the professionalization of coaching and stands for high standards, ethical practice and the internationally recognized ICF Credential (ACC, PCC, MCC). Its foundation is the 11 ICF Core Competencies and an understanding of coaching that sees clients as the experts in their own lives. The Germany Chapter was founded in 2001. We connect coaches across Germany, promote quality and ethics in coaching, and help clients find the right coach.
