I'm Earl Sizemore, up on Clinch Mountain in Hancock County, Tennessee. My daddy was the blacksmith for our end of the county, and I grew up in his shop before I could see over the anvil. Nothing he knew was ever written down. He taught with his hands and one short sentence: do it right once and it holds. On this channel I pass it on. How to heat a house on half the wood, stay warm and fed when the power's out for two weeks, keep the pipes from freezing, fix what breaks without calling a man, keep the mice out and the house safe. Plain talk, no fear, no gear to sell you. Just what seventy-some winters on this mountain taught me. If a trick don't work, I'll tell you. If it can hurt you, I'll tell you twice. My cousin Billy Ray and his wife Loretta Jean have channels of their own. Between the three of us we wrote it all down: thehillbillyway.com Go look after your things, and after each other. © Earl Sizemore · A Hillbilly Way™ Brand.
