Welcome to Bex Cottage Garden! I’m Bex, and together with my partner Andrew, we are transforming our small plot on the wild north coast of Pembrokeshire into our dream cottage-style garden. This channel is all about the reality of cultivating a handmade, homegrown life by the sea. Gardening on the coast comes with its own unique set of rewards and windy, salty challenges! Here, you can expect the honest truth about our journey as we figure it all out. What you’ll find on this channel: Garden Tours: Follow along as our small cottage garden grows and changes through the Welsh seasons. Practical How-Tos: Step-by-step tips on seed starting, root division, planting, and maintaining a healthy garden. The Realities of Coastal Growing: We share all our successes, as well as the inevitable failures, of trying to grow fruit, vegetables, and beautiful flowers (including a few dye plants!) in a coastal climate.
