Seborrheic dermatitis, explained by a patient who reads the research. I've had seb derm on my scalp and face for 4 years, and I got tired of advice that stops at "use a dandruff shampoo." On this channel I read the latest seborrheic dermatitis research papers and explain them in plain English: why it happens, how it's treated, what triggers flare-ups, and what actually helped my own skin. Every claim comes from a paper I show on screen, and the references are in each video's description. I'm not a doctor. Nothing here is medical advice. Talk to your dermatologist before changing your treatment. I also built Tilamint (@tilamintapp), an iPhone app made only for seborrheic dermatitis. It helps you find what flares your skin and what calms it. Free to try: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tilamint-sebderm-tracker/id6769674358
