Bio Let Babylon Burn is the independent music project of Norwegian songwriter and musician Robert Lancaster, bringing together acoustic roots, reggae, soul and blues. Robert writes songs and lyrics, contributes guitar, and directs the project’s sound and visual presentation. The recordings combine his creative contributions with AI-generated vocals and other AI-assisted production elements. Some artwork uses AI-generated characters as artistic representations of the project. Songs such as “So Hollow” and “I Forgive That Man” explore grief, forgiveness, self-respect and starting again. At the heart of Let Babylon Burn is an interest in everyday life—the things people carry, the choices they make, and the small moments that help them keep going.
