26 years with the Police Department. Nine of those in burglary, and the last eleven running the crime prevention unit, which meant I walked into strangers' houses for a living and told them what was wrong with them. Free, by appointment, one house at a time. I wrote up close to two thousand front doors before I put my papers in. Before that I sat across an interview table from more than three hundred men who made their living going through them. Almost none of them picked a lock. That is not how it happens. This channel is what I used to say standing in a doorway with a clipboard. What actually stops somebody, what is a waste of your money, and what a man is reading when he slows down in front of your house. I am not here to scare you into buying anything. Kansas City, Missouri.
