Vanishing Ground is a faceless documentary channel about the real, documented disappearances of the American and Western wilderness — the abandoned car at the trailhead, the search that finds nothing, the name added to a quiet list. Each film is a long-form countdown through the deserts, forests, mountains, and canyons where people walk in and are never found. Every case here is real and drawn from the public record — National Park Service, Forest Service, and sheriff's reports, news accounts, and search-and-rescue archives. We don't sensationalize, we don't speculate about causes that were never established, and we treat the missing and their families with respect.
